Pay for only the space you use

$2.5 per cubic meter, per day. Pay only for the space you use! The total used space will be checked by the system. The minimium charge will be 0.5m3 or $1.25/day. The minimum charge for every single SKU is $0.125 per day.

If you have 100 cartons in th OpenTaste fulfillment center, each carton will be 0.01m3. So, if you sell 20 cartons everyday, the storage cost will be calculated as follows:

  1. First day: 100 x 0.01 x 2.5 = 2.5
  2. Second day: 80 x 0.01 x 2.5 = 2
  3. Third day: 60 x 0.01 x 2.5 = 1.5
  4. Fourth day: 40 x 0.01 x 2.5 = 1 (charge 1.25 for minimum)
  5. So total you pay 7.25 for the 4 days

About GST

As OpenTaste is GST registered, thus all goods sold under OpenTaste platform should be charged with GST. Similarly, the sales commission charged to GST and non-GST registered marketplace sellers should be charged with GST. OpenTaste collects the sales, and pays GST to IRAS directly. Fulfilment by OpenTaste is not like other platforms which all sellers fulfil orders on their own. In our case, we provide a mixed basket solution with our items and the others. It is similar to how you sell items to supermarkets and they give IRAS the GST they collected.

For eg.
